I grew up in Perth, Western Australia in the suburb of South Perth. I remember the house, and the street and most details as clearly as if it were now. This photo was taken with my mother (no doubt by my father) in Kings Park, which overlooks the city. In the background is the Narrows Bridge, and the South Perth foreshore. There is a big windmill down there, and the kindergarten I used to attend near that. When my own son was born we lived further along that foreshore when he was about 5 years old, and we would ride our bikes along the pathway. On that foreshore I gathered every Australia Day January 26th to see the fireworks display - with friends, as teenagers when I was old enough to go. It was so much fun. We would also hire surf cats and sail on the river between the city and the South Perth foreshore. I lost a pair of sunglasses in that river.

This layout is really really beautiful. Seriously. The colours look so wonderful. You really have some great photos to showcase and you just get better & better every time.

I have a shadow tutorial on my blog too which might help, it has photos to help.

Oh Rainbow this is just stunning, I love it. What do you do with them? Do you print them up? I think this is definitely one to mount and put on the wall.
